Shuttle Service

Tongariro Expeditions offers a professional and comprehensive return shuttle service from Tongariro Holiday Park.

For this season as soon as morning light and weather condition allow there will be a Sparrow's Fat departure of 5.45am from here at the Holiday Park. This will only operate when weather conditions and numbers allow. This will be the first bus into the crossing track. 
Then normal departures are currently at 6.40 and 7.40.
Returns times back to the Holiday park from the finish of the track from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
These times will change depending on time of year and weather conditions. You will be at the start of the hike within 20 minutes.
All bookings are taken the day before depart once weather and track conditions have been confirmed.
We do not run out of seats as there is a number of buses.
Return transport is $35 per person return from here at the Holiday Park.

THERE IS NO TRANSPORT SERVICE CHRISTMAS DAY 25 DEC.

The shuttle offers multiple return times from the end of the track, as Tongariro Holiday Park is based just 6kms from the ‘finish line’.
