Powered Campsite

Park your campervan or caravan in safe, natural surroundings and enjoy the clean facilities at Tongariro Holiday Park. Located between the start and finish points of the Tongariro Crossing, the campsite at our Holiday Park is the perfect location to pitch your tent.

We have 25 powered sites for tents, caravans and campervans on nice grass sites. For those wet nights, we also have some hard sites to keep your feet dry.

There is plenty of hot water for showers, and the kitchen facilities are well set up.

If you are doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, a 2-night stay is recommended so you do not have to drive after your day's hike.

Over some busy summer periods, a minimum 2-night stay may be required.

The office and reception are open for check-in from 2 pm - 6 pm. For the campsite, it's not possible to arrive after 6 pm. For Christmas Day check-ins, the office is only open from 3-5 pm.

Cancellation: Any cancellation received within 21 days of arrival, full payment will be taken and no refund will be given.
